The Back Story

Ingredients

·      1 cup frozen bananas, chopped

·      2 cup pineapple chunks

·      2 cups coconut water

·      1 ginger, peeled cubed

·      1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

 

Method

-      Place everything in a blender and puree until smooth

-      If smoothie is too thick, add more liquid, if it is not thick enough, add more frozen bananas

Instructions

Method

-      Clean and wash all the vegetables and chop to smaller bite size pieces

-      Place the ingredients into the blender and liquefy and serve immediately for ultimate nutritional benefits

Ingredients
  • ½ bunch kale, stems taken off
  • 1 pineapple, skin taken off and chopped into bite size pieces
  • 3 green apples, peeled and cored
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and seeded
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • Ice cubes
Instructions

Method

-      Combine avocado 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and almond milk in a blender

-      Mix remaining honey and cocoa powder with Greek yogurt

-      Serve smoothie in a glass topped with Greek yogurt mixture

  • ½ avocado
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Ingredients

·      1 cup almond milk

·      ¼ cup Greek yogurt

·      ½ avocado

·      2 tablespoons honey

·      2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Method

-      Combine avocado 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and almond milk in a blender

-      Mix remaining honey and cocoa powder with Greek yogurt

-      Serve smoothie in a glass topped with Greek yogurt mixture

  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 2 celery rubs, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ cup non-fat Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup dark Rum (optional)

Place the peaches, vanilla yogurt, almond milk and ice cubes into a blender and puree until smooth, and serve immediately.

  • ½ c vanilla yogurt
  • ½ c almond milk
  • 1 c ice cubes
